The water off the dock is glass-still at dawn; a moored skiff waits for the ones who wake early, and the Gulf beaches are a five-minute walk across the key. This is the unhurried Florida, a boating house rather than a monument.

Eight guests across four bedrooms. Kayaks and paddleboards hang by the seawall, the grill and bar are set for the evening before you ask, and a captained fishing charter leaves from the dock on request. Provisioning is arranged through the concierge network; John's Pass and its boats are ten minutes south.
